On occasion nearly-natural or skin-safe synthetic ingredients are used. For product safety and integrity we use a synthetic preservative Germaben II as our primary preservative in products which contain water or may come into contact with water. We also use very little FD&C color dyes where mineral pigments aren't appropriate and use synthetic skin-safe fragrance oils in moderation.
