Handmade Natural Beauty is a home-based business out of the La Crosse, Wisconsin area. Natural products are made in small batches with the highest quality of skin-nourishing ingredients by me - Angie Cavaiuolo.

I have always been one of those creative types. From an early age, I was always making something from crochet to needle-point to well, pretty much - you name it! And I usually had a tendency to go overboard. I had always wanted to try soap making, but knowing full-well I'd end up obsessed, I held off.

Then I was inspired by my cousin, Jenny, who gave the family some soaps she had made one year for Christmas. I decided I'd give it a try. It didn't take long before I was hooked. I started researching and experimenting; making a few varieties of glycerin soaps, really concentrating on the natural additives.

Next it was time to design a logo and create labels. Having a professional graphic arts background, I really enjoyed that!

I introduced my soaps to the public by splitting booths with my mother who is a sculptor at a few local craft shows in 2002. Soon, I expanded the line beyond soaps and have been gradually adding products. Expect to see the line grow more as I continue on with my obsession!

2001::Handmade Natural Beauty was born as a hobby, started making glycerin soaps.

2002:: Expanded the line beyond glycerin soaps, including lip balms and lotion bars.

Oct. 2004:: New products: Spa Hand Care; New scents: Coconut, Sweet Romance; Muscle Rub; Romance Kits

Oct. 2005:: Announced new scents: Cranberry Almond, Zen for Men; Upgraded massage oil packaging; New scent: Patchouli Sandlewood.

Feb. 2006:: New products: Hair Care; Pet Care; Body Linen and Room Sprays; New scent: Green Tea & Cucumber

March 2006:: New style of photography for web photographs, all photography done by owner, Angie Cavaiuolo

March 10, 2006:: Official Launch of the Consultant Program

Oct. 2006:: Upgraded packaging to include majority professional waterproof labels.

Nov., 2006:: Angie joined local BNI chapter

May 2006:: Celebrated Grand Re-opening (Website redesigned (by Angie) / New and Improved Consultant Program including addition of the Distributor Consultant Program / Home Spa Club Started)

August 1, 2008:: Official Launch of the Handmade Natural Beauty Mineral Makeup Line
